Hi, I’m Stephanie Stone — the heart behind Rust Wind Photography

I’m a wedding and lifestyle photographer with a passion for capturing real, beautiful, unscripted moments. Whether you’re celebrating your engagement, welcoming a new life, or saying “I do,” my goal is to create timeless images that reflect the depth of your love and the joy of your story.

I earned my degree in Cinema & Photography from Ithaca College, and I’ve had the honor of working with Hearst Magazines on brands like Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, Seventeen, Food Network, and HGTV. That experience shaped my eye for storytelling and detail — but it’s the real-life love stories I get to capture now that truly light me up.

When I’m not behind the camera, you can find me hiking, tending to my garden, diving into faith-based podcasts, or spending quiet time with God. My faith plays a big part in my work — I believe in being present, intentional, and leading with kindness in everything I do.
